The cosmos is serving up a feast of wonders this season, each a reminder to keep your eyes on the skies and SkySafari close at hand.
A Dawn Dance (Sept 19): The Moon, Venus, and the star Regulus align in a dazzling pre-dawn conjunction. In some spots, the Moon even hides Venus, an occultation worth bragging about.

Titan’s Shadow Play (Sept 19/20): Saturn’s largest moon, Titan, sweeps its shadow across the planet’s cloud tops, a rare sight that won’t return until 2038.
An Interstellar Messenger (Fall 2025): Comet 3I/ATLAS, born around another star, makes a once-in-forever flyby. Dim but profound, this is a truly unique telescopic treat.

A Sudden Visitor (Sept–Oct 2025): Comet C/2025 R2 (SWAN) is already visible in binoculars, glowing near Spica with the promise of a possible meteor shower. A great target for the Southern Hemisphere right now. The Northern Hemisphere must wait closer to October.

Starsense, I have an idea, so there is a Supermoon on October 7th, and you can make like a Starsense Imagination of it, about the Saturn one… I don’t have a suitable Telescope for it, that’s why I might use Starsense soon. But for the Supermoon, put that on notifiers and Inspire Everyone!
